Jadinya weekend kemarin kita putuskan buat santai dan relax ke pantai di Repulse Bay..it’s definitely worth checking out for a lazy, relaxing weekend there. Repulse bay ini menjadi destinasi favorit kita buat ke pantai atau sekedar get away from the hustle and bustle of the city .
Who doesnt love Chocolate Milshake , huh?! ;p
Last Sunday, my family had lovely fun day with friends at Repulse Bay, Hongkong Island. We had never been here before. Always wanted to go here because Repulse Bay is one most famous beach area in Hongkong. Located in south of Hongkong island.
Sayangnya kemarin cuaca gak mendukung, padahal sehari sebelumnya liat forecast bakalan cerah dengan suhu kisaran 20-21c gak taunya dari pagi mendung dan hujan ditambah angin super kencang.Pasti kalau cuaca cerah bakal cantik banget pemandanganya. Kalau mau melihat otherside kota Hongkong it’s definitely worth checking out deh.
Here are a few photos from our time at Yarra beach around 1 or 2 weeks ago (This trip is just one day before freaky hailstorm that hit Sydney and made some damages to our apt. I shared a little bit of the story HERE)
That day the sun is out beautifully after an extreme (wild) rain in Sydney the day before. So me and my friend Jo decided to spend some time at the beach to please our little ones. This time we chose Yarra Beach. Its near our place actually..this little beautiful beach is close to La Perouse and Little bay. Its a calm type beach and its perfect for the kids to go swimming. Too bad that day the beach is a bit dirty with lots of seaweed and little rocks around the shore from the effect of the storm. Usually this beach is very clean and have clear blue water. But we still had fun though ..especially the kids running around, chasing each other, building sand castles which they never finished, Hah! And me and my friend can have some girl talk while watching the kids play.
Blake and Bazyl..off to the beach !
The forecast said that it might rain with 35% chance in the afternoon, although it never did rain. So the beach is empty 🙂
although the water is not as blue as usual but I still can see the beauty of this nature
A few weeks ago we spent our Saturday at Little bay beach (still not very known beach). The place is in the back of a golf course. Like I mentioned before in my Instagram (@qyusha) its a perfect calm beach for the whole family. The water is as calm as a lake so I don’t mind watching bazyl swimming and splish splash in the water by himself. Its just a laidback vibe in comparison to Bondi, Bronte or Coogee beach. No crazy wild wave yet the view is so beautiful.
We went to Downtown/Town Hall to watch the Chinese New Years Festival. The festival was great, a lot of fireworks and good attractions from the lion dance or barongsai. And before we head back home we went to Westpoint to see the Lanterns of the Terracotta Warriors.
I got my “me time” watching Fifty Shades of Grey with my dear friend, Mba Dewi who actually is a good friend of Mba ria/Ohdearria. The movie was so boring and so slow. A good thing about this movie besides the soundtracks was the popcorn that I ate… ;p later that night we had a good time during our din din, chit chat about a girls thing. what fun night !!
Oh look at this cute photos of Mr.Bazyl. Last week during his time in Playgroup, suddenly he grabbed a guitar and hopped onto a stage and gave a little performance with a song “twinkle twinkle little star”. I was so surprised! Definitely I’m a proud Mama!! He’s gonna be a Rock star !! And the other day, he wore a firefighter hat during his free play time at the playgroup. He said “mama..mama uuk aw atrol ya (mama mama look paw patrol). Paw Patrol is one of his favorite cartoon. I love this boy so so MUCH 🙂
Farewell summer, we spent our time a lot in the pool, just because we don’t wanna miss the chance to see Mr Sunshine while (still) shining so bright. Hell yeah its 35c. It was so damn hot!!! I will miss summer so much..pools, maxi dress, sandals. And Hallo Fall 🙂
And those yummy food was made with love by me ahahaha and I ate it all by myself. “Pesmol ikan pedas & Ayam penyet sambal terasi” HEAVEN!! You have no idea how much heat I can handle, Hah ! ;p
Last but not least…dua lelaki kesayangan ini yang suka buat pusing kepala dan sekaligus ngangenin!! I love them till it hurt!!
We had so much fun last Sunday on our trip to Bronte Beach. When you’re in Sydney probably people only think of only the famous beaches like Bondi, but this lovely beach is a hidden gem. This is a fantastic beach and has wonderful views with wild waves, white sand and bright blue ocean. It also has a beach rock pool by the seaside similar to the one in Bondi. You can still feel the wave in the pool. It feels good! The water is a bit rough yesterday but didn’t stop us splashing in the water and running from the waves .
The beach is in eastern sydney, it only takes 15-30 minutes from CBD/city area. Its also part of a coastal walk from Bondi to Coogee which has beautiful ocean views. You should definitely visit Bronte beach when you’re in Sydney! They also have a few cafes for you to enjoy with free wi-fi and a grass for picnic area that you can relax. Here are a few more photos and little video of our time in Bronte Beach! Enjoy 🙂
Besides spending our weekend having brunch at Brewtown Newtown, we decided to visit La Perouse. The location itself is close from where we live. It only took 20 minutes to go there by bus. As you may know, La Perouse was also featured in one of the scene from Mission Impossible II. They have a very gorgeous island and beach with absolutely stunning view of lava and coral beach.
And here’s a few photos of our time in beautiful La Perouse….
Macquarie watch tower or also known as The Barrack Tower was built around 1821/22 and one of the heritage sites in New South Wales.
Coral beach at La Perouse bay, unbelievably beautiful!
Walking to Bare Island ^^
A rocky beach at la Perouse Bay
Waves crashing on the rocks! Bazyl and papa make a great explorer team 🙂
Its almost sunset and I could stare it all day 🙂
We had a great time there, and hope you enjoyed the photos too !!
Lately,I’ve been feeling not in the mood to update anything in this blog. Am trying so hard to sit in front of my computer and find the right words.but here are a few photos from the past week or two .. ;p
A few pictures from the past two weeks, we went to royal botanical garden, government house ( just took photo in front of the gate, because its already late to enter) we cant get enough taking photos with opera house as the background, Hah! such a tourist . yesss we aree ;p. We also took a ferry to go to Manly beach but too bad we didnt bring our swimwear because our trip was unplanned so just ate an ice cream and enjoyed the neighbourhood. and since our home is just close to maroubra beach we often take little mister there, he enjoyed it and tried to catch the seagulls, even though when the little wave hit him he will yell out to me or chicco ” Hey mamaa..Hey papaa” yup thats the reason why we are darker now. i would like to say we are Tan! ;p . a week ago sydney was so damn hot and i found snow ice feeling fresh. and stock up some ice cream at our house.and another thing that makes me happy finally i found my favorite bath and body product from Soap&Glory oohh they smell amazing! i found it in mecca maxima so its a make up store like sephora oohh heaven!! now am counting the days because sephora will be opening soon next month, yeaaayyyy!! and another weekend we spend quality time with our aunt and uncle. and as a closing for last sunday we had sushi for supper and for the first time little mister tried to eat his sushi with chopstick, how cute!.
